In today’s immaterial economy, digital literacy and entrepreneurship skills are fundamental in ensuring financial independence. For women, who often face systemic barriers in business, the WOMEN 5.0 project provides a bridge. The recent workshop carried out in Larissa, Greece on 22/04/2026 demonstrated how targeted adult education can dismantle the “digital ceiling”.
The project materials contribute towards demystifying hype business and AI concepts. By stripping away technical terminology, the workshop reduced feelings of intimidation and insecurity among aspiring entrepreneurs. Through the WOMEN 5.0 Digital Toolkit, participants explored modules, moving from hesitation to confidence.
Financial independence is linked to the ability to compete on a level playing field. A woman who can automate administrative tasks, secure her digital assets, and use AI-driven insights to reach her potential is a woman with higher self-efficacy. The workshop highlighted a pivot in attitudes: when women familiarise themselves with digital and business tools, they tend to be more confident.
By prioritising practical application and peer support, we ensure the digital revolution empowers everyone. When individuals are well-informed, they don’t just participate in the economy — they can shape it.
