Women 5.0 in Greece: Hands-on Digital Skills for Women Entrepreneurs

In April and May 2026, ALL DIGITAL brought Women 5.0 to Greece. Three workshops, three cities — Larissa, Volos and Athens — each delivered by a local trainer with real experience working with women entrepreneurs.

The sessions covered digital tools for marketing, sales, content creation and automation. Nothing too abstract. The idea was always to get women actually using the tools, not just hearing about them.

From frustration to confidence

What came back in the trainer reports was encouraging. Women arrived at these sessions with real frustrations: keeping up with technology, managing social media on top of everything else and feeling like digital tools were for someone else.

By the end of each session, that had shifted. Participants were already thinking about how to apply what they had learned to their own businesses. In Athens, nobody in the room had used Claude AI before. By the end of the session, they were amazed by what it could do.

Learning by doing

The hands-on approach made the difference. As one participant put it after the Athens session:

“We didn’t just listen, we actually opened Gemini and tried things ourselves. I made mistakes in front of everyone and it was fine. That’s how I finally stopped being scared of it.”

That is exactly what these workshops were designed to do.

The aim was not simply to introduce new technologies, but to create a supportive environment where participants could experiment, make mistakes, ask questions and begin to see digital tools as something they could use with confidence in their own businesses.

Participants wanted more

Every session ended with participants asking for more time: more depth on AI tools, more on video creation and more on cybersecurity for small businesses.

Two hours was not enough — and that says a lot. The response highlights both the strong interest in practical digital training and the need for continued opportunities that allow women entrepreneurs to explore these tools in greater depth.

Through these workshops in Greece, Women 5.0 continued to turn digital learning into something practical, accessible and relevant, helping women move from uncertainty about technology towards greater confidence, curiosity and readiness to use it in their own entrepreneurial activities.
